Every industrial surface has an enemy. For steel, it is corrosion. For concrete, it is chemical permeation. For vessels and pipelines, it is the stored medium itself. The answer to all of these - applied once, correctly - is FRP Lining.
JK Fibre Glass Works delivers professional-grade FRP lining systems applied to steel, concrete, masonry and existing surfaces across the full spectrum of industrial, infrastructure, and commercial applications. A seamless, chemically inert, mechanically bonded barrier that does not peel, does not crack, and does not require replacement within the service life of your facility.
FRP lining is not a paint, membrane, or conventional coating. It is a composite structural laminate — fi breglass reinforcement saturated with a precision-selected resin — cured in place to form a continuous, void-free barrier physically bonded to the substrate. Paints rely on thin-film adhesion vulnerable to undercutting: one pinhole and corrosion propagates beneath the film. FRP lining eliminates this failure mode entirely. It bridges cracks, covers weld seams, wraps corners and penetrations, and provides a continuous barrier with no edges to undercut and no interface to compromise.
Isophthalic Polyester — water, mild acids, dilute alkalis, and general chemical environments.
Vinyl Ester — strong mineral acids, oxidising chemicals, chlorine compounds, and elevated-temperature media; the specification of choice for demanding chemical and effluent environments.
Epoxy — maximum adhesion and chemical resistance for oil and gas, refinery, mining, food-grade and pharmaceutical applications.
Epoxy Novolac — concentrated acids at elevated temperatures and mixed aggressive chemical service.
Chemical and process industry tanks, vessels, sumps and secondary containment. Water and wastewater infrastructure — sewers, clarifiers, digesters and reservoirs protected against biogenic acid attack and chemical degradation. Oil, gas and refinery assets including crude tanks, produced water systems, and flue gas ducts. Mining and mineral processing — leach tanks, tailings containment, and reagent storage under continuous chemical attack. Marine structures — ship hulls, ballast tanks, and coastal infrastructure in continuous immersion service. Industrial flooring in chemical plants, pharmaceutical facilities, and food processing operations. Pulp, paper, and textile process vessels.
Condition assessment and resin specification → abrasive blast surface preparation to defi ned standards → primer application → resin-rich corrosion barrier → structural laminate built in controlled layers → UV-stable topcoat → holiday detection using calibrated spark test equipment → thickness verification across the full lined surface. Every installation is inspected and tested before handover.
Three decades of industrial FRP lining experience. Applied across India and internationally. Our technical team works directly with plant engineers, corrosion consultants, and EPC contractors to specify, apply, and certify systems that perform for the full service life of your asset.
